NATIVE AMERICAN SERIES

All Native American Nations from the U.S. and Canada are included here. Among the groups included are the Algonquin Confederated Nations, the Mississippi Valley cultures, the plains Native Nations, the Southwestern and Western Nations and the Eskimo and Inuit of the Artic. While there has been a great deal of Western cultural impact since colonial U.S. on surviving Native American tribal Nations, there has been a concerted effort to revive and rescue language and culture. Academia trains graduates to study existing cultural patterns, many of which have been impacted by Christianity and Western culture. This series attempts to present the worldview that properly belonged to the Native Nations prior to the arrival of Western culture.
