After the arrival and religious and cultural hegemonic intent of the Spanish in Mexico, Central America and South America, there appeared the blending of two distinct groups i.e. the Mestizo. Although the colonial Mexican was influenced by the new religion and language, there remain today unique characteristics that have been inherited from the Pre-Columbian past. Most of the Spanish characterized as Mexicanisms today are original lexicon from the Aztekah Náhuatl. Magical Realism and its multi-dimensional reality created by Mestizo Nobel Laureates stem from Pre-Columbian times. The repeated use of the diminutive is derived from the same source. This series thus focuses on the Mexican with all of his linguistic and cultural peculiarities from the Colonial period to the current XXI century.
